Collecting appraisal fees from the borrower
Mercury's Integrations team can set up your account so you're automatically requesting payment for the appraisal from your borrower.
Your borrower will receive an email with a link to our secure payment page. The email is totally customizable and white-labeled for your brand, so borrowers will be impressed and you can highlight your commitment to consumer privacy and compliance.
When they click Provide Payment Information, they'll be taken to the secure Make a Payment page. It's incredibly easy for borrowers to use and the form is already mostly completed for them, except for their payment information.
When they click Charge card, the payment information will be processed and they'll see a confirmation message.
The payment will be processed via Mercury Network, then the borrower will receive a receipt for the invoice via email. That receipt looks like the one you see here.
That's it! The appraisal fee has been paid and you're one step closer to closing.
