Appraisal Scope Release Notes

February 21, 2024

This update contains new functionality for Staff Users, issue resolutions, and enhances the platform's integration with CoreLogic Mercury Network. Additionally, Staff Users will notice a change driven by Chromium-based browser updates when choosing a client in the New Appraisal order form. Choosing a Client from a drop-down list when entering a new order has been replaced with a text-input option.

USER EXPERIENCE

  • Recent updates to Chromium-based browsers such as Google Chrome and MS Edge caused a degraded user experience when utilizing these browsers. The issues introduced from Chromium browser updates impacted several staff users attempting to create a new appraisal order when the Client drop-down list exceeded a certain threshold.

To improve the experience for staff users and support the changes to the Chromium-based browsers, we made enhancements to the New Appraisal Order page used by staff users. Previously, a staff user creating a new appraisal order would begin by selecting the Client from a picklist using the dropdown. The UI element was changed from a drop-down list to an auto-complete text input field (similar to how the Client company search field works within the USERS tab). Staff users inputting text into the Client field requires input of at least two characters to begin the search.

  • The Client Company settings for Order Completion can control whether the appraisal review process will be automated or bypassed when an order meets the specified criteria. We resolved an issue that prevented email addresses entered in the Notify other user (Email) order form field from being sent the completed appraisal when the sub-setting, Auto-Complete Order was enabled. Suppose the Ordered For user is configured to receive the completed appraisal notification. In that case, email addresses entered in the Notify other user order form field will also receive the completed appraisal notification.

  • There were two issues resolved that could prevent new brokers from being automatically added to rule profiles or client broker permissions when a Default Template was used to create the new client or user:

    • We fixed an issue that prevented new brokers from being automatically added to a rule profile when the "auto add new brokers" setting is enabled. This issue only occurred if the client company or user was created from a Client Default Template using Client on Report settings.

    • We fixed an issue that prevented new brokers from being automatically added to the Set Permission configuration when the "Auto Add New Broker" setting is enabled. This issue only occurred if the client company or user was created from a Client Default Template using Client on Report settings.

INTEGRATIONS

Mercury Network

  • The LPA Key Number is one of the mapped values that are transmitted to Appraisal Scope from the Mercury Network integration. In some cases, the original LPA Key Number provided with a new Mercury Network order may be changed by the client. §  If the LPA Key Number is changed by the client, Appraisal Scope will automatically retrieve the new value and record the change in the Notification Log.
