Appraisal Scope Solutions Update
May 24, 2023

This update includes changes to the password management process within Appraisal Scope. Additionally, new enhancements improve the experience of your clients, vendors, and staff. This includes refinements to the ACH views, Connexions integration enhancement, and more.

PASSWORD MANAGEMENT

  • This update introduces a change to the password reset process for all Appraisal Scope users, including those with Super Admin privileges. This modification will enhance the security protocols for the platform, reduce the likelihood of unauthorized access to your account information, and strengthen Appraisal Scope password controls.

  • Many of our Appraisal Scope users will not notice a change in their workflow as this option has existed in Appraisal Scope for many years. Moving forward, everyone will see a "Reset" control next to, or in place of, each user’s encrypted password. Clicking the “Reset” option will deactivate the user’s current password and email them instructions to update their password.

Tip: Resetting a password will automatically inactivate password reset URLs within emails previously sent to the user. This is by design, as previously sent resets are inactivated for security purposes. If your staff, clients, or vendors report an issue with an expired reset link, reset the password for them again and ask them to click on the most recent password reset email.

INTEGRATION ENHANCEMENTS
Connexions Integration

  • We enhanced the InHouse/Connexions integration in cases when the client attaches documents to the request before assigning the order. The order request will now include all pertinent information with the payload, whether the client attaches documents before or after assignment to the Appraisal Scope AMC.

USER EXPERIENCE
Accounting

  • In the Accounting -> Appraiser Paid and Unpaid tabs, changing the payment status updates the Appraiser Payment History within the order details. We corrected an issue that caused the transaction date of the change to display a null value within the transaction history logs. Future changes to the appraiser payment status will now display a date value representing the modification change date.

  • Within the Accounting tab, some subtabs include an option to select all checkboxes displayed on a page. We improved the behavior and consistency when using the primary checkbox to select multiple records. For example, navigating away from the tab will continue to display the selected checkboxes if the user later returns to the page during their session.

  • Multiple files can be selected in the client or appraiser unpaid tabs to update multiple records using the “Pay Multi” button. If several checkboxes are selected, and the “Mark as Paid” option is used for just a single file, the page will refresh and clear all checkboxes associated with unpaid files.

UI Improvements

  • The Sign Up & Profile options include settings set to required or optional when an appraiser registers on your platform. We updated the toggle related to collecting the appraiser’s ACH information to better convey to staff users that the setting is required, optional, or disabled.

  • We continued to improve the overall experience for appraisers and staff users when entering ACH information. The improvements include new UI screens and data validation for additional areas of the platform where users enter ACH data, including staff user views and appraisers invited by appraisal company managers.

  • CoreLogic is committed to our customers and your security. We thank you for your business and appreciate your understanding as we implement these essential updates.
