Appraisal Scope Solutions Update
February 22, 2023

This update improves the performance of Appraisal Scope while resolving issues to simplify and streamline your appraisal workflow. Additionally, new enhancements were deployed to improve the experience of your clients, vendors, and staff.

INTEGRATION ENHANCEMENTS
Connexions Integration

Multiple updates were made to the endpoints associated with the InHouse/Connexions integration. These enhancements support your clients and workflow related to file uploads, specifically large files sent via the API. Appraisal Scope users should notice no difference in their workflow as changes to the API were updated to the new Connexions endpoints.

USER EXPERIENCE

  • We corrected an issue that occurred when newly registered client users could reset their password before approval by a staff user. New client users who register via the sign-up page will be provided a prompt that explains they are pending and must be approved before access or password recovery requests. This logic will not apply to client users manually added by staff, client admins, or via an API.

  • We continued refining the UI and database entries to assist staff users who manage access for client and vendor users. We identified areas of the platform and directory that utilize legacy logic and refactored the code to bring them up to the new standard. For example, in cases where an active user was associated with a branch that was disabled, the user could be flagged as inactive in the database.

  • We improved the search functionality related to filtering users in the Add Users tab. When filtering by name or branch, the user profile name(s) will continue to be displayed in blue text and remain clickable for a specific user.

  • Platform-specific files, such as a company logo, can be added to the Appraisal Scope image library and stored in the cloud. Images stored can be used in the Company Information tab, email templates, instructions, and more. We fixed an issue that prevented users from accessing files on the server, then editing them with the File Manager.

PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS

One of our goals is to constantly improve the reliability and performance of the platform. To support that goal, we continued our work to optimize the code that powers Appraisal Scope. This update includes refactoring components of the platform to improve your workflow and support your team's efficiency.
