Appraisal Scope Release Notes

February 7, 2024

This Appraisal Scope update contains issue resolutions, UI improvements, and integration enhancements.

 INTEGRATION ENHANCEMENTS

Mercury Network Integration
The DU Case File ID is one of the mapped values that are transmitted to Appraisal Scope from the Mercury Network integration. In some cases, the original DU Case File ID provided with a new Mercury Network order may be changed by the client. If the client changes the DU Case File ID, Appraisal Scope will automatically retrieve the new value and record the change in the Notification Log.

Client API
We resolved an issue for clients who submit orders using the Client API. The client can no longer make a fee change edit via the API when the global setting, Allow the Client to edit the fee is disabled.

Admin API
We resolved an issue that prevented the getappraisalsbystatus API endpoint from returning a list of orders in a Cancelled status.

 USER EXPERIENCE

The Automatic FHA Roster Management feature updates an appraiser's FHA roster status based on the latest information provided by HUD. We fixed an issue that prevented Hawaii appraiser licenses from being updated. The issue was caused by a change in the state of Hawaii's appraiser license number format.

We enhanced the payment screen displayed to borrowers, staff, and clients when the partial payment option is available. The payment screen will display the total due, the amount paid, and the remaining amount due.

We resolved an issue with the payment submission screen that caused the amount due to continue to display a remaining balance due. In cases when a user has paid partial payments and then pays the total amount remaining, the Payment has been submitted confirmation screen will properly convey the remaining amount due as $0.00.
