Appraisal Scope Solutions Update
February 9, 2023

This update improves the performance of Appraisal Scope while resolving issues to simplify and streamline your appraisal workflow. Additionally, new enhancements were deployed to boost the experience of your clients, vendors, and staff. These include improvements to primary integrated services and platforms such as CMS.

INTEGRATION ENHANCEMENTS
CoreLogic CMS Integration

Appraisal Scope can automatically provide your appraisers with access to the CMS Property Snapshot document to reduce clicks and errors. We added a new document type to the Settings -> Document Upload tab named CMS Property Snapshot. If the respective Display to Appraiser checkbox is checked, appraisers can view the CMS Property Snapshot without intervention from a staff user. Additionally, we improved the integration to better support large responses in the log table.

EAD Integration

The EAD submission features are used to submit reports to the EAD portal and return details about the status of the submission. In rare cases, an order submitted to EAD could return a rejected status when the submission was successful, and SSRs were returned. We corrected this issue by ensuring that the latest EAD document submission value is returned from the database. In addition, we added functionality to the UI to support all fatal hardstops to be viewable when clicking the View Hardstops button.

USER EXPERIENCE

  • We recently made improvements to the process that delivers Instructions to vendors who accept an order assignment. We continue to monitor the logs associated with this process and made additional enhancements for vendors accepting orders through APIs.

  • Appraisal Scope requires the LPA Key Number to be an alphanumeric string to reduce data entry errors. In cases where the user attempts to insert a space into the LPA Key value, a new prompt will inform the user that a value cannot be saved using a space in the field.

PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS

One of our goals is to constantly improve the reliability and performance of the platform. To support that goal, we continued to optimize the code that powers Appraisal Scope. This update includes refactoring components of the platform to improve your workflow and support your team's efficiency.
