My Columns + Export in Mercury Network: Game-changing (maybe life-changing?)

Is it too much to call this combination of features life-changing?

I’ll explain it and then you decide. (Or, if you don’t have time to read, just click here and we’ll walk you through it in less than 2 minutes.)

My Columns

Did you know that your pipeline view in Mercury Network is fully customizable? Every column in every status folder can be carefully tailored to your own preferences for maximum efficiency. Loan number and borrower name are the two things you probably key off most frequently, and you probably need to see the current status of the order more than you need to see your own company’s name. So, you can make the loan number and borrower name front and center, and drop the lender name out of view completely. Voila!

Perhaps when your orders are undergoing review, there are some additional data fields you’d like to see so you don’t have to click into each order. Go ahead and add them to your columns just for the QC status folders. Practically every field inside an order can be indexed in your pipeline view!

Not only that, but your view is totally custom to you, so you alone have complete control over what you see without affecting any of your team members. Want to sort by any one of those columns? Just click the header row! Click it again to toggle between ascending/descending order.

Export

Now that you can see exactly what you need to see, is there some kind of easy way to get that view into a spreadsheet? I’m glad you asked! From any folder inside Mercury or even in your search results, there is a button at the top that says Export. Click this to easily pull what you see on the screen into Excel for further slicing and dicing. You can export all the open orders in your current view, or if you’ve selected orders in your view, you can export those only. Either way, you’ll download an XLSX file which you can use for reporting, analysis, or whatever else you need to do outside the platform.

And finally, here’s how to do it

As part of our new Support Center, we’ve prepared a tutorial that will show you exactly what to do while you do it. It’s not a video, it’s better because you’ll learn how the process works while you complete your task.

So, what do you think? Is it life-changing? Let us know in the comments! Also, be sure to subscribe at the top-right to stay updated about new features, latest updates, and the many upcoming tutorials and enhancements to the Support Center.
