Customizable columns are on the way

Many of you have asked about this, so we're excited to tell you that with our next update, you'll be able to customize the columns in your order view to perfectly match your workflow. While we were doing that, we gave the whole Order Management interface a face-lift, which ultimately makes it easier to use. The highlights are below, and you can read the release notes here.

Column customization

As the list of available products in Mercury has grown and diversified, we've heard from a lot of folks who could use a customized set of columns when viewing orders. So, with your feedback in mind, we redesigned it so you can completely control which columns you see, as well as the order in which they appear. But we didn't stop there. You can also have a different set of columns for each folder!

Let's say you use the Action Required folder to keep a close eye on vendor delays. In that case, you don't have much use for UCDP or FHA status columns when viewing the Action Required folder. So, with the next update you'll be able to simply remove those columns in that folder while leaving them for others because each folder can have its own set of columns. There are so many ways to use this customization, and we can't wait to see how you apply it to your unique workflow.

Order Management redesign

You've come to expect a certain level of "finesse" from our products, and we're committed to continually raising the bar. So, while we hope you appreciate subtle changes like more discernible icons and rows of data that are easier to read, we also hope that they're such a natural part of the interface that you hardly notice them.

We work to constantly improve your experience with Mercury. And, like we always say, we use your feedback to create new features and enhancements, so please keep it coming to info@MercuryVMP.com.
