Your fee panel vendors can now expand their coverage, other improvements in our latest release

With this update, appraisers can now include more than three states in their profile’s coverage area. We’ve also updated the status for commercial bid orders to show more detail and improved performance when loading the Completed Orders folder. You can see complete details in the release notes and read on for highlights.

Three-state limitation removed

Previously, appraisers could only include up to three states in their coverage area. For those who live near several state lines or whose business serves many different states, this posed a problem which they worked around by creating multiple accounts. Now, we’ll be able to combine those accounts for appraisers so they can represent their coverage area accurately in one profile. If you have appraisers on your fee panel who have more than one account, you don’t have to do anything. You may notice that, where there were previously two profiles for a vendor which each showed different coverage areas, there is only one profile after they combine them. The main impact would be if you use your vendors’ capacity in your selection criteria: If they previously had two profiles in your fee panel, their capacity was effectively doubled. If they combine into one profile, that vendor’s capacity will be the maximum you’ve set in Vendor Selection Settings.

Vendors can call Client Relations to combine their accounts, so you might not see any changes right away – or at all – because vendors aren’t required to combine their accounts.

Better detail for commercial bid orders

When a commercial bid order has been awarded to a vendor, the bid is not automatically accepted like it is for residential orders. To make this clear, an order that has been awarded but not accepted will now display a status of Bid Awarded - Awaiting Acceptance. Previously, the status would have shown Out for bid or Bid window closed, so this new status provides more information at a glance. These orders will continue to appear in the Open Bid Orders folder as well as the Awaiting Acceptance folder.

Performance improvement

The Completed Orders folder will now load faster thanks to newly optimized queries that handle this process. This is part of our ongoing commitment to keep the platform efficient and reliable so your valuation workflow can be too!
